Are you our new Operations Technician?
Do you want to help create a more sustainable and resource-efficient future? At Tekniska verken, we utilize resources that would otherwise go to waste – transforming them into steam, electricity, cooling, and district heating. We are now looking for an operations technician who wants to contribute to a sustainable society and make a real difference.
As an operations technician, you will be part of a wonderful and dedicated team responsible for the daily operations of our combined heat and power plant in Katrineholm. The work involves monitoring, controlling, and optimizing processes to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly production. In close collaboration with colleagues, your days will be filled with varied tasks such as:
- Operations and monitoring
- Rounds, troubleshooting, and resolution of operational disturbances
- Participation in maintenance, audits, and improvement work
- Actively contributing to safety and work environment efforts
The position includes shift work and on-call duty.
Are you the one we are looking for?
We are looking for someone who is technically interested, has good communication skills, and enjoys collaboration. You see the value in working in a structured way, take initiative, and drive the work forward. With a solution-oriented and positive attitude, you contribute to both the team and the organization. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
We expect you to have:
- High school diploma with a technical focus or equivalent experience
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
- Driver's license (B)
If you have training in operations technology or other equivalent education, it is considered an advantage. Experience in energy-producing facilities or process industry, as well as experience in maintenance and repair work, is seen as a benefit.
